Moving out of Airtable? Take your formulas with you.
Built-in importers copy your rows and silently drop the rest: formulas, linked records, structure. BaseExit carries all of it over alive. The part no tool can move, you get in writing before you pay a cent.
Every field accounted for, before any payment
This is the artifact you receive, free. A line-by-line classification of your base with a fixed quote, shown here as a specimen. Each line lands in one of four classes:
- [auto] carried over as-is
- [converted] formulas kept alive
- [snapshot] values preserved, formula text saved
- [checklist] rebuild list for what no tool can move
Four classes, and every field lands in exactly one.
There is no fifth class and no fine print:
Data & structure
Text, numbers, dates, checkboxes, select options with their choices, attachments (re-uploaded), linked records wired correctly in both directions.
Formulas
Your IF({Status} = "Done", "✓", "…") becomes a live formula in the destination. Its engine recomputes it, instead of receiving pasted text.
No equivalent function
Where the destination has no matching function, current values are preserved as a snapshot and the original formula text is saved beside them.
What no tool can move
Automations and Interfaces aren't exposed by Airtable's API; anyone claiming to migrate them is guessing. You get a precise rebuild checklist instead.
Three steps, one total
The whole engagement, start to reconciled delivery.
Connect read-only
Create a scoped Airtable token that reads schema and records only. We never write to your base. Revoke it the moment we're done.
Read your report
Field-by-field portability breakdown plus a fixed quote based on your record count. Decide with full information, or walk away. The report is yours either way.
Migrate in one run
One-time card payment. Your new base is ready the same day, with record counts reconciled table by table and formulas alive.
One-time, by base size
$99–299USD
You pay once. Your exact price is fixed in the free report, before you commit to anything.
Start with the free reportWhat we won't pretend to do
Airtable's API does not expose Automations, Interfaces, or view configurations. No migration tool can move them, including us. What we do instead:
- Automations → a rebuild checklist naming each scenario you'll recreate in your new tool.
- Formulas without an equivalent → values preserved as a snapshot, original formula text saved beside them.
- Views → the list is carried over; filters and grouping you set up fresh.
Answers, in plain terms
Something else on your mind? hello@baseexit.com
- Is my data safe?
- The token you create is read-only and scoped to one base. Data is processed for the duration of the migration and deleted after delivery. Revoke the token the moment we're done.
- Which destinations are supported?
- Baserow is live today. SmartSuite and Notion are next; the order depends on demand, which is exactly what the form above measures. Tell us where you're going.
- Why not just use my new tool's free importer?
- Use it, if your base is flat tables without formulas or links. Built-in importers copy rows. Formulas arrive as dead text, linked records lose a direction, and nothing tells you what got dropped.
- What does it cost?
- One-time, by base size: from $99 (under 5,000 records) to $299 (200,000+). The portability report is free and comes with a fixed quote, so there are no surprises at checkout.
- Do you migrate Automations?
- No, and neither can anyone else: Automations aren't in Airtable's API. You get a precise rebuild checklist so nothing is forgotten.
Move the whole base, not just the rows.
